At the very end of August, Ptuj steps into its time machine and goes back, way back in time. In fact, it is fair to say that Ptuj ceases to exist, replaced instead by the ancient Roman settlement and market of Poetovio. It may be a cliché, but history comes to life as all are transported back two-thousand years. What fills the schedule? Roman parades, ancient Roman weddings, a children’s camp and much much more of course.
