Tishreen Park

Umayyad Square, Beirut Road     06 May 2026
Marked by the unmissable 110-metre-high flag mast, Tishreen Park is a sprawling but pleasant hillside oasis west of the Old Town. With plenty of paths, seating areas, picnic spots, playgrounds and a few good cafes and restaurants, it's a popular place to head, especially at weekends. The name means October/November, and refers to the 1973 Tishreen Liberation War. Come in spring for the rose stands and in June/July for the popular annual Damascus International Flower Show.
