Opened in 2014 in the old community centre, the eco-museum in Pivka does everything you would expect such a museum to do and then some. The focus is obviously on the 17 unique disappearing lakes that make up the area, with explanations and interactive displays seemingly everywhere and excellently set up for both adults and children alike. The floor above is dedicated to the various flora and fauna in the area, with more interactivity available. Every base is covered, with local products also for sale at the entrance.
