Located opposite Prem Castle on the top of the hill above the village of Prem, the church of St Helena acts as the centre of religious life in the settlement. Whilst it is obviously too big for the community these days, it still comes with a number of interesting sights, not least the Tone Kralj painted frescoes inside. The church itself has undergone a number of evolutions in its history, before settling on its current look in 1868. Services are still held here every Sunday, and the church is open most weekends for curious visitors.
