A blink and you’ll miss it stop on the road to Predjama Castle, the Toplar Hayrack contains a collection of farm tools used throughout the history of the region. The toplar itself is a special feature of Slovenia, a double hayrack with a multitude of uses dating back to 1883. The top floor of the hayrack is home to an exhibition of trades in the region throughout history, and the sheer breadth of ingenuity of old methods is quite staggering.
