Is it any surprise that the biggest event of the year in Bloke would centre on skis? Held each year on the first Sunday of February, the traditional skiing festival sees the streets of Nova Vas crammed to watch the competitors make their way across either the short course (seven km) or longer one (20km), with both the start and finish line being found in the town centre.
