The Wodecki Twist Festival in Kraków celebrates the life and legacy of Zbigniew Wodecki (1950-2017), one of Poland’s most beloved and big-haired musicians, composers, and entertainers. Known for his amazing flowing locks, rich, powerful and versatile voice, warm stage presence and genre-spanning career, Wodecki blended pop, jazz, folk, and orchestral music into songs that became part of Poland’s cultural soundtrack.

Held annually in Kraków, the festival brings together leading Polish and international artists for concerts, collaborations, and special tribute performances inspired by Wodecki’s musical spirit. The programme ranges from symphonic reinterpretations and jazz sessions to contemporary pop and crossover projects, creating a lively, multigenerational celebration of creativity and musical openness.
