There is an irony in there somewhere. In the 19th century this was a three-story school for deaf children, but the 21st has seen it developed into one of the most exciting music venues in the city. The Deaf Institute also does pretty excellent food if you’re looking for a bite before the show. The schedule is largely full of rock, indie and folk, with no shortage of club nights filling in the gaps.
