The cuisine here might be Italian-inspired, but as a restaurant at the top of a bookshop, styling itself as a library, it is very Russian in its love for the literary. Quotes printed on the walls provide food for thought; actual food is cheap - this is a popular student hang-out - and varied. Authentic Italian it is not, but inventive new dishes and old favourites are tasty at the price, and pasta is homemade. The decor too is cheerful and interesting; think bookshelves and coloured lanterns. Pop in for lunch (with 20% off on all menu till 15:00), or discuss Bulgakov over dinner and a Master and Margarita cocktail.
