The 21st annual Golden Drum festival came to a thrilling halt yesterday, and the In Your Pocket team was lucky enough to be invited along. Portorož was the gorgeous setting for the event, and over the four days of the event a number of fascinating talks were given, networks were built and creativity was encouraged. As was remarked during the award ceremony, Golden Drum could quite possibly have a case for being the youngest festival in the world, so it is safe to say the future of advertising is in safe hands.

63 Silver drums, 31 Golden drums, 16 Golden Drum Grand Prix awards and one Good Cause Grand Prix award was awarded during the festival, as well as one Hall of Fame induction for Ulrich Proesel, Vice President Business Development for TBWA/Europe and ardent Golden Drum supporter.
