A huge variety of different horse carriages are on display through the streets of Postojna at the beginning of July each year for the annual Driver’s Festival, a homage to the areas transit history. A whole day event, the procession of carriages and their various cargos is accentuated by traditional crafts, an accordion competition and much more.
