Set high up in the hills above Begunje, the quaint alpine town immortalised in the songs of the world famous Avsenik Brothers Ensemble, this traditional Slovenian restaurant and guesthouse has been satiating the appetites of locals and tourists alike since all the way back in 1932. With nearly all of the ingredients coming from nearby farms, you won't find a dish not to like on the menu, however, for those making the journey here for the first time we recommend trying one of the house specialities, such as wild game goulash, venison medallions or fresh baked trout. Just make sure to save room for dessert too.
