Radovljica has been a top destination for early music enthusiasts for more than 30 years, as each August the town hosts two weeks of concerts by top musicians from around world, making it the longest running festival of its kind in the country. Performances are held in the magnificent Baroque Hall at Radovljica Mansion as well as in the Church of St Peter nearby, and each year at least one concert usually also takes place at the Church of the Annunciation in the town of Veselovo near Kranj, which boasts one of the finest pipe organs in Slovenia. In addition to the formal early music concerts, the diverse festival programme also includes contemporary music, theatre and dance performances. During the events there is a free festival bus that brings guests to Radovljica from Kranj and Ljubljana.
