In his words, ‘the pencil is my weapon, my dreams, my drawings, my sculptures, my fight with myself. I paint simple topics, usually the sea, and observers strain to taste the wind’s breath, the salty air, and listen to the breathing of the waves.’ Vukas lives for his work and his expression, works in acrylic that impart old and forgotten stories through his representation of the people and the city in which they live, to a new generation. Art from the heart!
