If you’ve never been to Brda before, Dobrovo Castle is a logical first stop on your tour. The region’s well-stocked and extremely helpful tourist information centre is located in the courtyard, where you can also find the Briška Butiehca shop, packed with handmade gifts and souvenirs crafted by local artists, artisans and farmers. Inside the late Renaissance castle there’s the Count de Baguer Museum Collection, the Zoran Mušič Art Gallery and a wine cellar with wines from more than 50 of the region's best producers. At the castle restaurant you'll find reasonable prices and ample servings, with postcard worthy views from the back terrace.
