Created in 1990 and named after Zakopane’s wackiest son, the splendid Witkacy Theatre aims to restore Zakopane to its rightful place as one of the centres of artistic and intellectual life in Poland. The repertoire includes such international works as The Crucible, Dr Faustus, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? as well as plays by Witkacy himself.

Box office Open 10:00-12:00 and one and half hour before performance. Closed Mon, Sun.
