The only mountain hut in the Polish Tatras which allows hikers to sleep on the floor and cannot turn people down if they show up near dusk or in poor weather, regardless of how many are already present. If you decide to take advantage of this option, bring a sleeping bag and mat. Alternatively, book one of the 60-some beds ahead of time. Hot food, beer, and hot water are all available. The current, fifth iteration of the mountain hut dates back to 1954.
