Bloke Skier Museum

  Nova vas 4a, Bloke      +386 (0)31 32 61 58     more than a year ago
Bloke is referred to as the ‘Slovenian Tibet’ for good reason, and in centuries past the inhabitants of Bloke came up with an ingenious way of getting around by devising the first skis in this part of the world. This museum was opened in 2014 and is something of a shrine to all things skiing, with the history of the Bloke skis taking centre-stage. Come and explore an important part of Slovenian heritage, and a vital part of Bloke’s history. Viewing is only possible through prior arrangement.
