The Ilirksa Bistrica area has a very strong history of sawmills, and nowhere is this more proudly displayed than at the tourist farm called Novak, a short drive outside the town. With a restored mill, you can witness first-hand the power of nature and its application to the every day life of people in the area. This is just the tip of the Novak iceberg of course, and with 15 acres of land this is a pretty big iceberg. With no neighbours to irritate and no curfew to keep this is the perfect place for a celebration, surrounded by gorgeous nature and with activities such as a small football pitch and volleyball also available. Supposedly the main road is nearby, but you’d never tell such, is the tranquillity.
