Merely a stones throw outside of Dol itself lies the tiny village of Zaboršt. Now, we’re not going to tell you to set aside a day for Zaboršt, as lovely as it is it has a population of around 200 and not much else. Its church is definitely worth a look though. It has but a fragment of a fresco of St Christopher preserved on one wall and a bell tower dating back to 1689, but the surrounding greener than green scenery makes this adorable church impossible to ignore.
