The spiritual centre of Domžale’s thriving cultural scene, the France Bernik Cultural Centre has an almost constant program that quite literally has something for everyone. Opened in 1998 in a building constructed in 1910, the centre showcases everything from theatre performances to puppet shows to live music, including everything and anything in between. Program aside, the building is a very interesting example of Art Nouveau architecture in the region. It also runs the nearby Domžale Gallery (Mestni Trg 1) and was influential in the putting together of Menačenk’s Homestead.
