Currently under renovation, the stables next to the house in which Ivan Hribar was born are in the process of being made into a museum. Depicting the life of a 19th century family, the building itself is a mix of the original materials and ecological modern developments. The birth-house of Hribar next door is a house of stories as well, having being ruined in fires on at least three occasions. A monument in front of the homestead pays respect to three people killed here during World War Two.
