Referred to as the ‘Land of a Thousands Stars’ (an also ‘The Most Beautiful Place in the World’, although that may be hyperbole), Menišija is in the northern part of Cerknica and offers blooming meadows and stunning panoramas. A number of cycling paths and educational trails can also be found here, along with the Vidovska and Otavska pleateaus, and the Iška and Zala rivers.
